Faith grinned and fingered the controls. Just for a moment, Faith felt a real connection between herself, the TARDIS and Kiara. They both felt that longing to fly the TARDIS that they both shared. “What?” asked the Doctor, standing up. “No.” Faith’s shoulders slumped.
“Can we at least help?” she asked hopefully, leaning forwards on the console. The Doctor sighed and began to fiddle with this screwdriver, making the end start glowing and whirring in bursts.
“More importantly,” Kiara said, interrupting the Doctor’s reverie “will you take me to 2011?” The Doctor didn’t answer for a minute, and then whispered something unintelligible. Before they could ask what he’d said, he turned to Kiara.

“The TARDIS isn’t always as exact as you want her to be.” She smiled. I’ve been hanging round Edinburgh since I got here. Bit too far to travel to Baker Street, and Sherlock’s fine at the moment…” she trailed off, looking for all the world like she’d spilled some unearthly secret. Faith hadn’t understood a word of it!
Faith looked at Kiara, then at the Doctor and back at Kiara. She sighed and pulled Kiara back towards the TARDIS. The Doctor followed along behind them, seeming to be in his own world. As they turned back onto the cobbled street that led to the alley where they’d parked the TARDIS, Faith looked over her shoulder. She spotted something that made her yelp: an angel
